Innovaccer Launches Gravity Platform to Enhance AI Integration in Healthcare

Innovaccer has introduced its healthcare data interoperability platform, Gravity, which is now accessible across the United States, with broader availability anticipated in the coming months.

Purpose of the Platform

The Gravity platform aims to assist healthcare organizations in optimizing their data usage and accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence for digital transformation.

Funding and Focus

Innovaccer, a notable player in the healthcare sector, recently secured Series F funding. The company is dedicated to enabling healthcare organizations, which often struggle with outdated and siloed systems, to implement analytics more swiftly.

Challenges in Healthcare

According to Abhinav Shashank, cofounder and CEO of Innovaccer, “Health systems are under unprecedented pressure to do more with less, from improving outcomes to optimizing operations, all while managing rising costs.”

AI Deployment and Value-Based Care

The Gravity platform is designed to facilitate the deployment of AI across healthcare organizations, integrating data from various sources such as electronic health records, claims, and financial systems into a unified platform.

Value-based care (VBC), which depends on real-time patient data to enhance health interventions and personalize care, is gradually replacing traditional fee-for-service reimbursement models. Recent research indicates that momentum towards VBC is accelerating.

Survey Insights

A survey involving 168 healthcare professionals revealed:

  • Over 60% reported increased participation in VBC programs.
  • 30% indicated that at least 25% of their revenue is linked to VBC contracts.
  • Top barriers to VBC adoption included financial risk (87%), provider resilience (80%), and lack of interoperability (75%).

Despite these challenges, 65% of respondents expressed optimism regarding AI’s potential to enhance analytics in VBC arrangements.

Gravity Platform Features

Innovaccer’s Gravity platform is designed to be operational within 90 days due to its healthcare-specific architecture, which includes:

  • Over 400 prebuilt connectors and 100+ FHIR resources.
  • A low-code/no-code developer studio that allows rapid deployment of use cases.
  • AI-powered analytics and customizable dashboards for real-time insights.
Marketplace and AI Agents

The Gravity Marketplace offers a variety of healthcare-ready content, including:

  • Pretrained AI agents and reusable data models.
  • Integration templates to streamline development.

Gravity’s AI agents are built on domain-specific models and are monitored for compliance and safety, ensuring they meet clinical and regulatory standards.
