Over 900,000 patients in Ireland now have the ability to view their appointments through the Health Service Executive (HSE) Health App.

- From September 11, 2025, patients across 31 hospitals can easily track their appointments.

Minister’s Statement
Jennifer Carroll MacNeill, Minister for Health, expressed her enthusiasm: βI am delighted that so many more patients can now view their appointments in the HSE Health App. This will make it easier for them to keep track of their appointments when they download and log in to the app, and I would encourage everyone to do so.β
Future Developments
The HSE is working to expand the app’s functionality:
- More appointment types will be added over time.
- Patients will eventually be able to book, reschedule, or cancel appointments through the app.
- Telehealth appointments are expected to be integrated early next year.

Patients can also:
- View their BreastCheck screening appointments.
- Receive weekly updates about pregnancy if expecting.
- Access digital versions of health cards, including Medical Card and European Health Insurance Card.
- Utilize the QUIT stop smoking service for personalized support.
